The Issues That Matter
Business in Belleville
I support strategic partnerships with the Quinte Economic Development Commission to attract high-value industries and create well-paying local jobs. By leveraging resources from organizations like Trenval Business Development Corporation, I will focus on supporting small business growth, workforce development, and targeted local infrastructure investments right here in Belleville.
I also think the Arts can generate and support businesses. We need more festivals and activities in art, music, film, and theatre. Arts help make life richer for all.
Policing and Security
Belleville has improved the downtown concentration of homeless persons the past four years. But we must do more in cooperation with the Police, RCMP, and the courts. I will be active in meeting goals and engaging community and provincial resources.
Environment
Our waterways are the lifeblood of our region’s economy and lifestyle. I am dedicated to protecting this natural heritage to strengthening municipal collaboration with Quinte Conservation and ensuring the Moira River and Bay of Quinte remain vibrant for both residents and visitors.
